The goal of this page, is to explain how the SurviAccess management system for electronic locking systems is setup and how it works.
SurviBox
Every end-customer must have a SurviBox which connects to the electronic locking system network at client site with the SurviAccess Cloud Server. Note: should the end-customer use multiple geographical sites that are not connected to the same TCP/IP network, multiple SurviBoxes can be installed to still form one single electronic locking system via the SurviAccess Cloud Server.
Data network availability is essential for the well functioning of the electronic locking system. As a result, every SurviBox has a fallback functionality in case of connection loss from the cabled internet source. Note: Should no cabled internet source be available, a SurviBox can purely run on the mobile data network too.
Security is at the heart of the SurviAccess system. Highly secure and encrypted VPN (virtual private network) connections enable access control data to flow securely.
SurviAccess Fees
- Every end-customer installation is due for a one-time setup fee for the software and the hardware (SurviBoxes).
- Every end-customer installation is due for an annual software maintenance fee which covers all backups and updates necessary for the well and secure functioning of the electronic locking system.
- Every SurviBox is due for an annual maintenance fee which covers all updates necessary for the well and secure functioning of the SurviBox.
- Every access point (cylinder, escutcheon, wall reader) is subject to an annually recurring licence fee.
